When will my Book Box Club parcel arrive?
If you subscribe by the 6th of the month, we will post your bookish parcel around the 15th of that same month (unless we have already sold out of that month’s theme). If you subscribe on the 7th of the month or after that date, your book box will be posted on around the 15th of the following month.
All Book Box Club post is sent via Royal Mail and most UK parcels arrive within 7 days, international parcels may take longer. If you haven’t received your box by the end of the relevant month, please get in touch by emailing email@example.com.
Can I buy a one-off Book Box Club box?
All of our subscription packages automatically renew, BUT if you’d like to buy just one Book Box Club box, select the month-to-month option and check-out. Then, when your payment has been processed, login to your account on our website and cancel your subscription. We’ll still send you the box that you’ve just paid for, but we will not send you any further boxes and your subscription will not renew.
Can I buy a one-off Purely Books parcel?
We do not offer our Purely Books parcels on an individual basis, this is because we send out a mixture of paperbacks and hardbacks across the year and we want to make sure that you get the best value for money (and the very best books) over your subscription period. You can join us for a 3, 6 or 12 month subscription.
Can I switch between a Book Box Club and a Purely Books Membership?
This is a tricky one! All book lovers are welcome to purchase either a Book Box Club membership or a Purely Books membership and then at the end of your subscription period (I.e. monthly, three months, etc.) switch to the other product.
However, if you’re in the middle of a Book Box Club or Purely Books subscription and for some reason you want to pause your current membership and try out our other subscription service, send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll see what we can do. We’ll do our best, but whether or not you can try out the other service whilst you still have an active subscription will depend on your current membership.
Remember Purely Books parcels are not available on a month-to-month basis, but you can sign up for a minimum of a three month period.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We post our boxes around the world. Our book boxes are sent to international addresses through Royal Mail. Prices for international postage are charged in addition to your Book Box Club subscription cost. If you live:
b) in World Zone One, postage will be £17.20 (OR £7.80 for Purely Books)
c) in World Zone Two, postage will be £18.15 (OR £8.55 for Purely Books).

Am I too young for a Book Box Club membership?
We love gritty YA titles about hard-hitting issues, so if you’re a sensitive soul approach with caution. Most of our titles are suitable for ages 14 plus.

You’re never too old for a Book Box Club membership!
How do I join the top-secret online Book Box Club meetings?
Our Clubhouse meetings are for members only. You can only join in with our author book groups if we have sent you the relevant book and the exclusive book group invitation. Each month’s invitation will tell you the time and date of the relevant book group meeting. Soon after you’ve received your first box, you’ll receive your top-secret personal login details by email. If you’re having trouble finding your login details, please check your junk folders and then if you still can’t track them down, send an email to email@example.com. If you’ve had a Book Box Club or Purely Books membership in the past your login details will remain the same.
How do you choose the books?
We love reading so we scour publisher catalogues, hunt down early reading copies, devour tonnes of books and talk to each other about what we’re loving whilst drinking a lot of tea (sometimes gross banana tea that’s been languishing at the back of the cupboard). Research complete, we select the very best books and send them to our members.
What if I already have the book?
The books that we choose are brand new to avoid you receiving titles that you’ve already read. We hope that you’ll enjoy these hot-off the press releases. If you’ve beaten us to it, you’re pretty speedy, so please share it with a friend.
When will my payment for my Book Box Club or Purely Books membership be deducted from my bank account?
We’ll take payment for your membership on the day that you sign up. From then you’ll be rebilled on renewal day on the 25th of each month (unless you purchase our 3, 6 or 12 month prepay packages, for which you’ll be rebilled every 3, 6 or 12 months on the 25th of the month). If you sign up between the 7th and 25th of any month you will not be rebilled until the following month.
How do I cancel my subscription?
To cancel your subscription simply login to your account and click the “edit” button in the subscription tab, then click “cancel subscription”. We will still send you the box(es) that you have paid for, but we will not send you any further boxes and your subscription will not renew. If you just need a month to catch up on your reading, click “skip next renewal” instead. If you’re a multi-month member skipping the next renewal will set back your renewal for the entire term of your subscription period (i.e. 3, 6, 12 months). Don’t forget you can rejoin our club at any time. We hope you’ll come back soon.
I am a crafty sort how can I get my items featured a Book Box Club box?
We love hearing from crafty types. We’re always scouting out fantastic products for our boxes. If you’re an artist, typographer, maker, or a small business, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with a description of your product, pricing and turnaround times.
